Privacy policy

Last updated May 29, 2026

MonoDispatch ("MonoDispatch", "we", "us", or "our") operates a dispatch automation platform for sprinter van and freight logistics, which includes the MonoDispatch driver mobile application and the web platform used by dispatch and operations staff. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you use the driver app, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.

This policy is written to satisfy the Apple App Store privacy disclosure requirements and to give drivers a clear, plain-language account of how their data is handled.

MonoDispatch is offered to drivers operating in the United States and is not directed to residents of the EU, UK, or EEA.

Who this policy covers

The MonoDispatch driver app is intended for use by professional drivers. You may have been issued credentials by a carrier or dispatch company that uses MonoDispatch, or you may be a driver engaged directly by MonoDispatch as an independent contractor. We process driver data to operate the dispatch service. We do not sell driver data, and we do not use driver data for advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking.

Data controller and privacy contact

MonoDispatch is the operator of the service and the privacy contact for this policy. Your role depends on how you use MonoDispatch.

When you access MonoDispatch through a carrier or dispatch company that issued your credentials, that company generally decides why and how your driver data is used and is typically the controller of that data. In that case MonoDispatch acts as a service provider or processor that handles the data on that company's behalf to operate the service.

When MonoDispatch engages you directly as an independent contractor, MonoDispatch is the controller of your driver data and decides why and how it is used to operate the dispatch service.

Questions about this policy, privacy rights, or deletion requests can be sent to ops@monodispatch.com.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the dispatch service, dispatch loads to drivers, track active deliveries, process settlements, and provide support. We group the data we collect into the categories below.

Account and identity information

When a driver account is created, we collect and store identity and contact details provided by the driver or the driver's company, including full name, email address, and phone number.

If your dispatch company provides them, we also store and display emergency contact details (name and phone number) so they are available to dispatch and support in an emergency. This information is supplied by your company, not entered by you in the app.

Compliance and onboarding information

To meet carrier compliance and onboarding requirements, we may collect driver's license number and expiration date, date of birth, the last four digits of a Social Security number, and unit number. We collect this information only where it is required for driver verification, compliance, or payment processing, and we store it as part of the driver profile.

Location and GPS data

With your permission, the driver app collects precise device location while the app is open and in use. Location is used to show your live position to your dispatch team, provide accurate pickup-to-delivery tracking, support check calls, and help dispatch keep customers informed without repeatedly calling you while you are driving. We request location access only after you grant the system permission, and you can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings. For full detail on how we use location, see our location policy.

Push notification tokens

If you allow notifications, we register your device with Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and store the resulting device token. The token is linked to your driver account so we can send you load offers, dispatch updates, and time-sensitive operational alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

Camera and document uploads

With your permission, the app uses the camera and photo library so you can capture and upload compliance and load documents, such as a commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver license, insurance certificate, W-9, medical certificate, background check, vehicle inspection, and delivery documents like bills of lading (BOL) and proof of delivery (POD). These images and the documents derived from them are stored as part of your driver or load record. We access the camera and photo library only when you choose to add a document. We receive only the photos or documents you choose to capture or upload for compliance or load documentation. We do not scan or access your full photo library.

Messages and in-app communication

When you message your dispatch team about a load inside the app, we store the message content and any images you attach so the conversation is available to you and to dispatch for that load.

Payments and earnings information

We process and display load rates, settlements, deductions, and earnings tied to your driver account so you can review what you are owed for completed work.

Authentication and session data

To keep you signed in securely, we use a server-issued session cookie. On iOS, the session cookie is stored by the system web view in the standard secure cookie store. If you enable biometric unlock, the associated state is handled by the device keychain and biometric framework; we do not receive or store your fingerprint or face data. Face ID data stays on your device and is not sent to MonoDispatch.

No third-party analytics or ad tracking

MonoDispatch does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or cross-app tracking. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not build advertising profiles. The App Tracking Transparency permission is not requested because we do not engage in tracking as Apple defines it.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • Present load offers and let you accept, decline, bid, or counter on dispatch.
  • Show your live location to your dispatch team while a load is active, and provide accurate pickup-to-delivery tracking.
  • Send push notifications for offers, dispatch updates, and operational alerts.
  • Capture and store delivery documents such as BOL and POD.
  • Enable in-app messaging between you and your dispatch team about a load.
  • Calculate and display rates, settlements, and earnings.
  • Meet carrier compliance and onboarding requirements.
  • Provide support and keep the service reliable and secure.

No sale or third-party sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, third-party analytics, or data brokerage.

Service providers and recipients. We share your information only as needed to run the service: with the dispatch or carrier company that issued your driver account and is coordinating your loads; with infrastructure providers that host and store data on our behalf (cloud hosting and storage in the United States, and Apple Push Notification service for notifications); and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or third-party analytics.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of drivers, companies, and MonoDispatch.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your driver account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Compliance, onboarding, and tax-related records, such as driver qualification documents and W-9s, are retained for the periods required by applicable transportation-safety, employment, and tax laws. Location data is retained only as long as needed for active dispatch and recent trip history. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

  • Control location, camera, photo, and notification access at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Enable or disable Face ID re-authentication on your device.
  • Request access to or correction of your driver profile by contacting us or your dispatch company.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data directly in the app under More then Settings then Delete account. You can also request deletion by contacting ops@monodispatch.com. Some records tied to completed loads, payments, and legal obligations may be retained as required by law.

California privacy rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, secure session handling, and tenant isolation so that companies can access only their own drivers and loads. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit access to those who need it to operate the service.

Children's privacy

MonoDispatch is a workforce tool intended for professional drivers and is not directed to children. The service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

MonoDispatch driver accounts are only for drivers who are at least 18 years old. The App Store age rating may display 17+ because that is Apple's highest age tier; the app is not intended for anyone under 18.

Governing law

This policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, as further set out in our terms of service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at ops@monodispatch.com. For more on how we handle location data, see our location policy and terms of service.
